Sorrow, a weight that I cannot shed
A darkness that fills my heart with dread
It lingers, a constant companion
A burden that I must bear on and on
From the sorrow that I can't shake
In search of a way to find a new home
In the grand halls of the library
I try to find solace and clarity
But the shadow of my grief
lingers, a constant thief
I pour over ancient tomes
But the pages offer no escape
So, I wander the cobbled streets,
Hoping to find some kind of peace
But the darkness follows me still
A never-ending cycle of agony finding its way to spill
Out of my aching heart onto this torn page
Liberating me from my own cage.
