Fragile Remnants

It's like each breath comes with a condition of being alone Love's icy touch leaves me with a numb body, a mind of stone Maybe I'd tolerate the skin, but I hate it when it sinks deep into my bone. Like it had ingested all the violence The melancholic melody of shattering glasses mixed with all the swearing I'm sure nobody could tell, But I was taking deep breaths in the most calming places I went. Like it had sponged off all the sorrow The fake laugh decorating the dull walls with fictitious felicity I'm sure nobody could tell, But I was wiping my tears in the happiest places I went. Like it had grasped all the guilt The tears staining the pages of her favorite book mixed with the urge to blame it all on herself I'm sure nobody could tel...
